Introducing Job List Groups — Organize Your Jobs the Way You Think About Them
v1.4.0 brings Job List Groups to Builder Tasklist — a new way to organize your jobs by community, client, phase, or whatever fits the way you run your business. Group your jobs however you actually think about your work, and the right list is always one tap away. The more jobs you're juggling, the more useful Job List Groups get.
Group Your Jobs However You Think About Them
Job List Groups let you organize your jobs into named groups. By community. By client. By phase. By type. However you actually think about your work.
You might create "Active Builds" for your in-progress projects, "Warranty" for follow-up work, and "Oakwood Community" for everything in that neighborhood. Or group by builder, by superintendent, or by who's signing the checks. There's no right answer — Job List Groups bend to fit how you already work.
One Job, Multiple Groups
A remodel in the Riverside neighborhood is both an active build and a Riverside job. With Job List Groups, you can assign a job to as many groups as you want. That same remodel can live in "Active Builds" and "Riverside Job Site" at the same time. Open either group and the job is right there.
Search Across Jobs and Groups
The sidebar search bar searches both jobs and groups at once. Type "Riverside" and you'll see the Riverside group and any jobs with Riverside in the name. Tap a result and you're there — your jobs and your groups, all in one search.
Manage Groups From Anywhere
Create a new group from the sidebar with a single tap, or manage everything from Settings. Add or remove jobs whenever you want. Rename a group as your business grows. If you delete a group, your jobs remain safe—they simply move back to 'Ungrouped Jobs' until you're ready to reassign them.
You also get two automatic groups that are always there: All Jobs (every active job) and Ungrouped Jobs (anything you haven't sorted yet). They update on their own.
A Premium Feature for Builders Juggling Real Workloads
Job List Groups is available to paid Builder Tasklist accounts. If you're on the free plan, you'll see it in Settings — tap the upgrade button to unlock it along with everything else in Builder Tasklist.
If you ever turn the feature off, your groups and assignments are saved. Turn it back on later, and everything is exactly where you left it.
Update Now
v1.4.0 is available on the App Store and Google Play. The update is automatic — just make sure you're on the latest version, head to Settings > Job List Groups, flip the toggle, and start grouping.
